ARCATA- Jamal Jones is the new Arcata varsity football coach. He was most recently the Tigers offensive coordinator under Dave Newton who stepped down after last season.

Jones ended his playing career with Humboldt State and then spent one season with the green and gold as an assistant before moving across the highway.

Running back Demitri Patterson is back after rushing for over 1,300 yards and 17 touchdowns.

Another key member on offense is Austin Kadle. The senior will make the move from receiver to quarterback

Arcata is ready to see the results of all of its hard work during the off season.
