Man Runs Into Highway 101 Traffic, Flees Officers

EUREKA – A 50-year-old Orick man is placed under arrest after running in traffic on Highway 101.

At 8:30 Thursday morning, CHP officers responded to the northbound lanes of Highway 101, just north of Eureka.

Steven Woodward was found running into traffic and tried to flee from officers when they arrived.

Woodward was eventually caught and placed under arrest for PC-148 – resisting, delaying or obstructing an investigation.
