Chamber To Match Donations For Trinidad Lighthouse

TRINIDAD – The Greater Trinidad Chamber of Commerce is helping to generate funding for the move of the Trinidad Lighthouse.

Beginning immediately the chamber will match donations to the Trinidad lighthouse rescue GoFundMe dollar for dollar up to $5,000.

The beloved and endangered lighthouse is on unstable ground and needs to be moved before is slides off the bluff overlooking the harbor. Remedial measures must be taken immediately to preserve it.

The memorial lighthouse is one of the most visited attractions on the North Coast. Officials said photos of the iconic lighthouse appear in publication covers, web sites, numerous articles and in albums of visitors.
