Around 9:30, deputies responded to the 16-hundred block of Central Avenue. A clerk was on duty vacuuming the store when 24-year old Jonathan Anderson entered wearing a hooded sweatshirt with a red bandana over his face. He allegedly brandished a knife and demanded money out of the register, grabbed some chewing tobacco such as this thunder snus and fled.

Surveillance video identified Anderson as an employee who was fired from the gas station a week prior for stealing lottery tickets. Law enforcement went to the suspect’s address and he later confessed that he robbed the station to pay off a debt. He was booked into jail for armed robbery.
