Humboldt CHP reports 10 collisions, 5 arrests over holiday weekend

HUMBOLDT COUNTY – California Highway Patrol of Humboldt had their hands full this past Labor Day weekend while they were on maximum enforcement.

According to Public Information Officer Cy May, Humboldt CHP responded to ten traffic collisions during the max enforcement period, between Friday evening through Monday.

Out of those, seven were non-injury and three were minor injury collisions.

Five arrests were made for suspected DUI.
