Small plane heading to North Coast crashes in Bay Area

CONCORD- A small plane that left the Bay Area heading to the Arcata-Eureka Airport has crashed.

The single engine Beechcraft BE36 took off from Buchanan Field in Concord on Saturday and was in the air for about ten minutes before crashing in Benicia.

According to the FFA, two people were on board. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
