Humboldt Bay Firefighters honor fallen first responders at 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb

SACRAMENTO – Humboldt Bay Firefighters honored the sacrifice of first responders at the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb in Sacramento.
Five crew members climbed 110 flights of stairs, carrying a name of a firefighter who died trying to save lives at the World Trade Center.
This is the fourth year local personnel have made the trip. Before he left for Renaissance Tower in Sacramento Engineer David Terry said the fire service is a family and he climbs to make sure we never forget those men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice.
