Fortuna students stay fit with NFL Play 60 program

FORTUNA- One North Coast school is using the football field to stay fit.

Students at Fortuna Middle School on Thursday participated in a Play60 flag football game.

College of the Redwoods has a bye week and members from the team helped out by coaching the students.

NFL flag football is also part of PLAY60, the league’s youth health and fitness campaign. The program promotes physical fitness by getting kids active for 60 minutes each day.
