ARCATA – Arcata City Council member Brett Watson wants to make sure every voice is heard and is opening his schedule to the community.

Twice a month Watson is going to hold office hours at the community center as a way to create personal connections with community members. He says this is a great opportunity for those who want to give their input but maybe don’t want to get up and speak at city council meetings. At these office hours they’ll be able to meet one on one with Watson and talk about any issues or concerns they might have. They can discuss anything from the potholes to the plaza. He says he looks forward to getting to know the community more personally.

Watson’s office hours are scheduled for the second and fourth Wednesday of every month at 5:30 at the Arcata Community Center and open to everyone.
