New skates are needed at Blue Lakes Roller Rink

New skates are needed at the Blue Lake Roller Rink and on Saturday they held a carnival fundraiser to help replace the skates that have been there for decades.

The Director of the Blue Lake Parks and Rec says the rink is in much need of some new rental skates for its visitors. The rink put on a carnival in Perigot Park on Saturday to raise money. There were lots of activities going on such as, a bouncy house, live music, a petting zoo, face painting, a scavenger hunt, and of course some roller skating. The Blue Lake Rancheria has offered to match the funds raised here today in hopes of bringing many new skates to the skating rink as possible.
