National Coffee with a Cop Day brings out community members

ARCATA – Wednesday was National Coffee with a Cop Day and local law enforcement departments celebrated by gathering at local coffee houses to hang out with the community members they protect.

Arcata Police Department said they had a lot of fun getting to know the more of the people in Arcata today. Many community members had questions regarding national and local issues and also how APD deals with them.

Police Sergeant Brian Hoffman says today was a great opportunity to let the community know their goals as a city and how they implement them day to day.
