North Coast political leaders speak out amidst Las Vegas shooting

NORTH COAST – Since the Las Vegas shooting massacre, North Coast political leaders have been voicing their opinions on the topic of gun control.

Wednesday morning North Coast Congressman Jared Huffman joined a group of Democrats in remembering the victims of the Las Vegas shooting.

Later on social media, Huffman saying, “Enough is enough. We have a responsibility to strengthen gun violence prevention laws… for the lives we can save in the future, let’s work together now to make our country safer.”

North Coast State Senator Mike McGuire has also stated on twitter, “Why would any American need a device that makes their firearm a fully automatic weapon? It’s now time for congress to act.”
