Van donated to CR automotive technician program

EUREKA – The opportunities for one College of the Redwoods class are zooming with this new donation.

The automotive program at CR was donated a car from Harper Motors of Eureka so they can work on their technician skills.

The 2005 Ford Freestar van will be used by the students to learn more about contemporary vehicle repair.

Trevor Harper of Harper Motors says he “values the technicians he has employed who graduated from CR over the last 15 years.”

The program is looking for more donations like this to benefit the students’ learning experience.
