ARCATA – Those who are interested in what it takes to become a California Highway Patrol Officer will have the opportunity see for themselves during a community workout on Saturday morning.
CHP will be hosting the workout to give the public an idea of the regiment they have at the academy and how they push their officers to be the best they can be. This is one of the new programs they’re putting together to build connections with the community.
On Saturday there will be informational meeting about how to become a CHP officer as well as a public safety dispatcher, both positions they’re hiring for. If you’re interested just come out to their office in Arcata, the workout is open to everyone, including kids!
