EUREKA – A local nurse has traveled to Puerto Rico on a humanitarian relief mission and is now asking for your help to provide assistance to those in need.

Randee Litten is an emergency registered nurse for St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka. She is one of 56 nurses from the United States who recently arrived to Puerto Rico on a humanitarian flight, there to assist with the devastation that hurricane Maria caused. Litten has stated that the resources are very limited, with many places without access to food, water, or power.

She is asking for donations which will be donated to the non-profit she is working with, the registered nurses response network has been providing assistance in disaster stricken areas since 2005.
