Former home of K-Mart now covered with graffiti

EUREKA – A Eureka storefront has been closed for little more than a week, and is already covered in graffiti.
Vandals targeted the building that housed the Big K-Mart up until nine days ago.
A fence surrounding the property hasn’t stopped taggers from covering the now boarded-up structure with graffiti.
Eureka police say they are aware of the problem.
According to the city’s Development Services Department, the owner is exploring all options for future tenants including large retailers like Home Depot as well as a cannabis-related business. No paper work has been filed, so the building will continue to sit empty for now.
