Eureka, Ca., (KIEM)- St. Joseph’s Hospital is part of a network of medical centers, including some in the area being devastated by the redwood fire complex.

“The fires in Santa Rosa have impacted a lot of people and those in Sonoma county… many of our brothers and sisters in the ministry down there have been affected dramatically, and so we want to keep them in our prayers as we continue to try and support them.” Chief Executive Officer David Southerland explained.

But will St. Joeseph’s be sending nurses to hospitals in Santa Rosa or Sonoma?

“We have not really received any specific requests at this point. We’re mainly trying to stay in communication with them and seeing if they do have a need.” Southerland answered.
