Local business to collect holiday gift donations for fire victims

EUREKA – Many victims of the Northern California fires this month have lost their homes and everything they have – now Humboldt community members are coming together and asking your help in bringing the them some holiday cheer.

Humboldt Towing is gearing up to start taking donations for fire victims through their Christmas Box fundraiser starting on Monday.

They’re looking for new and unused pajamas, toys, shoes, art supplies, gift cards and more.

Up until December 15th, you can drop off donations at Humboldt Towing in Eureka, Monday through Friday, between 8AM and 5PM.

There will also be a drop off site at HealthSport on 2ND Street, and next Friday at the high school football game at Eureka High School, donations will be accepted starting at 4PM.
