Limited number of free state park passes available for Black Friday

NORTH COAST – Save The Redwoods League is offering free passes to state parks on Black Friday.
The North Coast is home to a majority of the participating parks, from Jedediah Smith in Del Norte County to Richardson’s Grove State Park in Southern Humboldt.
Around 2,500 passes will be available. Those cover day use and parking fees.
This is the third year Save the Redwoods and California State Parks partnered to encourage exploration of the natural landscape on a day when many traditionally shop.
Permits are limited and will be granted on a first come first serve basis.
