Wright named new Eureka Chamber Executive Director

It’s a first for the Eureka Chamber of Commerce.  A female executive director.

Business women Donna Wright has been selected to lead the Eureka chamber. Founded in 1891 the chamber is one of the oldest business organizations in California.

Wright replaces Don Smullen who is retiring after 4 years as the executive director.

She’s excited to start working with the board to implement new ideas. Wright says she wants to bring new advocacies for businesses in the community and help build chamber membership.

Wright’s first day on the job will be November 16.
