ARCATA- With the Humboldt State football season complete, the decision on the future of the program has been pushed back.

The decision on athletics was expected to be made by Thanksgiving. But on Tuesday, Rossbacher told a large audience at the Associated Students Board of Directors meeting that an announcement won’t come until December first.

The community was asked to raise $500,000 for each and the next five years. At last check, the pledge drive is at $337,000.

HSU football finished the season with an 8-2 record.
