EUREKA – Santa made a pre-Christmas appearance in Old Town, but instead of a sleigh he arrived on a fire engine.
Our cameras hopped a ride as jolly old saint nick wound through Old Town Eureka. He waved to shoppers while they meandered down the street.
As the Humboldt Bay Fire engine pulled up to the gazebo, children and parents welcomed Kriss Kringle with smiles and cheers.
Santa passed out candy canes and took pictures with kids of all ages while he heard their Christmas wish lists.
Long time North Pole Resident Santa Claus shared this message with kids for the holiday season, “They always need to listen to their parents and their teachers because if you don’t you’re going to be on the naughty list. The other thing is to always be kind to your fellow humans no matter what because we’re all one big happy family. Ho ho ho ho ho ho ho.”
Catch Santa in Old Town every Saturday and Sunday through December.
