ARCATA – Around 15 percent of Humboldt State students are suffering from homelessness.

Homeless Student Advocate Alliance started their three day event on Tuesday. It’s intended to bring awareness to how students live while not having a traditional home. There were also demonstrations of how to charge your vehicle if you are living out of it, and how to do your homework while living in a tent or car.

If you would like to find out more or become involved just contact HSU’s Homeless Student Advocate Alliance on their Facebook page.
