Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office staff shave after supporting a cause

EUREKA, CA. – Staff at the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office were allowed to grow out their beards and dye their hair blue in November, all for a cause.

‘No Shave November’ has wrapped up and while deputies have to say goodbye to their new-do’s, they got to say hello to the children it was all for.

Each staff member who participated donated thirty dollars to either CASA of Humboldt or the Boys and Girls Club of the Redwoods.

Over $2,500 was raised, and will go towards training for CASA advocates and providing gifts and meals to kids and teens over the holidays.
