Every high school football team sets a goal to be still be playing football in December and the Fortuna Huskies did just that. In other areas of the country, snow falls on football fields this late in the year. In Humboldt County, it’s rain, and lots of it. (4)Fortuna hosted (7)Hercules tonight at McKinleyville High School and the Huskies won their first NCS title since 2000.
