Eureka, Ca., (KIEM)- The Henderson Center Kiwanis acted as Santa’s helpers, ushering in the holiday season at Glen Paul School one present at a time.

Glen Paul serves special needs students in Humboldt County ages 3-22. Today, many of those students clapped, sang or raised their hands to welcome Santa Claus to their school. Kris Kringle brought a toy for every student, based on wish lists specific to their likes, wants and needs.

Cake, ice cream, and all of the personalized presents were donated by the Kiwanis club. The president of the club, Brian Sollom, says the event is a meaningful way to bring joy to children over the holidays. He also says the Kiwanis themselves look forward to the event all year long.
