EUREKA- There was a time when College of the Redwoods didn’t have men’s soccer. But in the three seasons back, the program continues to show improvement with players moving on to four-year schools.

Miguel Ramirez is an example of just that.

On Wednesday afternoon, the sophomore defender signed his letter of intent to play at Chico State in the fall.

The Wildcats compete in the same conference as Humboldt state and are coming off a 10-6-2 campaign having reached the league tournament.

Ramirez said he his thankful for all the support at Redwoods.
