Repeat offender arrested at Bear River Casino with large amounts of drugs, firearm

LOLETA, CA. – A known criminal is arrested at Bear River Casino with a large amount of drugs and a firearm.

52-year-old Brent John Holdridge was recognized by a Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office deputy patrolling the parking garage of the Bear River Casino at 1:17AM Friday.

Holdridge and another man were standing by a vehicle, both on felony searchable probation.

The deputy’s search turned up 3.5 ounces of heroin, 14 grams of meth, 21 pounds of marijuana, 31 grams of concentrated cannabis, 37 hydrocodone pills and a loaded .22 caliber revolver.

Holdridge was taken into custody and booked on multiple charges, including felon in possession of a controlled substance and a firearm.
