Adventure’s Edge accepting donations for Hurricane Maria victims

EUREKA, ARCATA, CA. – Millions of United States citizens are still struggling in Puerto Rico post Hurricane Maria and a Humboldt woman is calling on our community to send aid.

Danielle Mcdeavitt was in Puerto Rico when the hurricane hit, and experiencing it firsthand has driven her passion to help in the wake of destruction.

Still many are without electricity and water.

Medeavitt organized with Adventure’s Edge, and the shop is offering discounted water filters and solar lights that will be donated and brought to victims.

Donations will be collected at their locations until February.
