Domenico sentenced to 9 years for arson, assault

EUREKA- A Manila man is sentenced to nine years in prison for arson and assault with a deadly weapon.

Anthony Domenico assaulted Thomas Uber with a tree branch and then burned his camp structure in Manila last August.

A jury convicted him of the crimes in November and was sentenced on Tuesday.

Humboldt County Judge John Feeney gave Domenico the maximum amount of time allowed by law, imposing the longest of three possible terms for arson of an inhabited dwelling and an additional one year term for the assault with a deadly weapon.
