Wanted felon leads law enforcement on high speed pursuit, arrested with meth and heroin

FIELDS LANDING – After fleeing law enforcement, the suspect in a high speed pursuit was found in a backyard in Fields Landing.
Drug task force agents were searching for 28-year-old Angela Lockwood who was wanted on felony narcotics charges.
Just before 5:00 Tuesday evening, agents spotted Lockwood driving an Acura sedan in Eureka and requested EPD assist with a traffic stop.
Lockwood fled southbound onto Highway 101 reaching speeds of 90 miles per hour before exiting at Fields Landing.
An EPD K9 located the suspect hiding in a backyard near West and Central Avenue, and officers took her in to custody.
Agents searched Lockwood’s vehicle and found 10 Dilaudid pills, 100 grams of suspected methamphetamine and another 143 grams of suspected heroin.
They also found further evidence of drug sales in her purse including a digital scale and packaging materials.
Lockwood was arrested for the outstanding warrant, fleeing, and numerous drug possession and transportation charges.
