Distributing Measure Z: Humboldt residents invited to share opinions on how to use county tax

EUREKA, CA. – Humboldt residents are invited to share how they would like to see county taxes used in the first Measure Z committee meeting of the year.

In November 2014, Humboldt voters passed Measure Z, a half-cent sales tax, for county interests such as roadwork, law enforcement hires, and more.

Nearly twelve million dollars is projected to be distributed for the 2018 financial year.

You’re invited to join the Measure Z Citizens Advisory Committee to bring your perspective to the conversation at their first 2018 meeting.

The meeting starts Thursday at 2PM in the Board of Supervisors Chambers at the Humboldt County Courthouse.
