The verdict is in, Eric Lively found guilty of second degree murder

EUREKA – A jury has found Eric Lively guilty of homicide less than twenty-four hours after beginning deliberations.

Jurors found lively guilty of second degree murder which indicates the crime was intentional but not premeditated.

Lively was accused of running over his neighbor Jesse Simpson last May in Shelter Cove.

The trial lasted thirteen days and wrapped up Wednesday afternoon.

Lively will be sentenced at a hearing on March 7. He faces 15 years to life.
