Amputee in wheel-chair left at Eureka Rescue Mission front door

EUREKA- Imagine having a stranger dropped off at your front door. It happened at the Eureka Rescue Mission on Wednesday. It was a multiple amputee in a wheel-chair left at the Second Street front door. Although there are innovative solutions to mobility issues, accommodating someone with certain needs can be very difficult.

Rescue Mission Director Brian Hall said that the story may sound unusual, but it happens all the time. Hall said the man was pushed to the mission by a homeless man. The amputee said he had no family and could not explain how he had been abandoned.
