Homicide in Hoopa: Suspect in Custody

Hoopa, Ca., (KIEM)- A woman is shot and killed Saturday behind the Hoopa Gas Station. Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies and Hoopa Tribal Police were called to the scene of a ‘disturbance’ at around 2:30 that afternoon.

“Through further investigation and with the community’s assistance,” Officers say, 30 year-old Antone Aubrey was identified as the primary suspect. Aubrey is charged with murder. He is now in custody at the Humboldt County Jail, with bond set at 1 million dollars.
