Humboldt County Supervisors consider resolution against offshore drilling

EUREKA, CA. – Supporters of a measure opposing offshore oil drilling are asking for your support.

Tuesday, the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors will consider a resolution opposing offshore oil drilling along the North Coast.

It’s in response to the Trump administration’s plans to open most of the California coast to oil drilling.

So far, 11 of 15 coastal counties and 20 cities that would be impacted have approved resolutions against drilling, and a new poll shows 69% percent of Californians are against it.
