Fire reignites at Union Street home

EUREKA- Humboldt Bay Fire returned to the same Union Street residence that was destroyed in a suspicious fire Tuesday night.

Smoke was coming from the vacant structure when crews arrived on scene at around 9:30 Thursday morning.

Fire officials told us the fire reignited from some hot spots in the structure.

The cause of Tuesday’s fire is still unknown. It’s suspicious since there was no gas or electrical services to the residence.
