EUREKA, Ca.,(KIEM)- A mother and her hound are in need of the community’s help. Hank, a 3-year-old Australian Bulldog mix was being abused at a marijuana farm until Charise Atwood saw the pup in distress and quickly took him home to a better life. From then they’ve been inseparable through good times and bad.
In May of 2017, Hank was playing in the yard when suddenly a boat propeller split his side. At the emergency room, hank received 13 stitches but later had to return to the ER due to infection. Now Hank is dealing with Fluid in the stomach and atrial standstill. News channel 3, Dru Miller has their compelling story.
