Humboldt County, Ca., (KIEM)- An active investigation is underway after a body was found at the mouth of the Eel River at about 12:11 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
Sheriff’s Deputies and a Warden with the Department of Fish and Wildlife responded to the south end of the South Jetty. They found a the body of a man, and the coroner was called to the scene. So far, the person’s identity is unknown to investigators.
