Fortuna City Council to consider changes for city service fees, ways to use Measure E funds

FORTUNA, CA. – Fortuna City Council is making annual rates and fee adjustments for city services, and is inviting the public to voice their opinions on how to use Measure E funds.

In their upcoming meeting, staff will discuss a few tweaks to public fees for the 2018/2019 fiscal year, which will impact the overall city budget.

Specifically, changes are planned for building fees, community development encroachment permits, and water and wastewater hydrant meter charges.

Talks on this topic will happen during the regular meeting Monday at 6PM in Fortuna City Hall.

Community members are also invited the next day to make recommendations for the city’s Measure E sales tax usages – this meeting will be Tuesday in City Hall at 5:30PM.
