CR’s Licona signs with Chico Soccer

EUREKA- College of the Redwoods soccer is sending another player to Chico State as sophomore Samuel Licona signed his letter of intent Thursday afternoon.

Licona will take the field with former Fortuna Husky and Redwoods teammate Miguel Ramirez at Chico.

He started as a forward with CR and moved to center-mid. Licona flourished in the center of the field with his ball handling and quick decision making skills.

Licona scored two goals this past season and told us he’s excited to take on the next challenge in his soccer career.
