Northcoast Marine Mammal Center seeking Humboldt volunteers

HUMBOLDT, CA. – It’s an opportunity to work with marine mammals, and make a difference.

The Northcoast Marine Mammal Center relies on volunteers, and they are looking for more of them in the Humboldt County area.

The non-profit was started in 1983, with a goal of rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing sick, stranded or injured seals and sea lions,

Since being started, they have treated hundreds of injured marine mammals, returning many of those back into the wild.

They say if you’re interested in getting a good workout, while doing something good for our marine mammals, volunteering at the NCMMC might be for you.
