Search for murder suspect continues

ALDERPOINT – The Humboldt County Sheriff’s office is continuing to search for a murder suspect. Monday night, they were looking for a second man who may know where he is.

Deputies have been saturating an area of Alderpoint where Zachary Harrison, accused of killing a man last fall, is known to frequent. They believe someone may be hiding him or helping him elude capture.

Monday, deputies checked out a house on sixth street where Harrison is known to go to.
There, deputies arrested 24-year old K-C Lee Stillwell, after they discovered she had misdemeanor warrants for petty theft.

Later, deputies conducted a traffic stop near Alderpoint Road and Fourth Street.
After stopping, the driver, 34-year old Marshall Larry Kent, seen here after a previous arrest, got out then ran toward the Eel River. Deputies were unable to catch him. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office.
