FAAN meets fitness

EUREKA – What better way to celebrate World Health Day and Autism Awareness Month than by combining fitness and FAAN?

FAAN is the acronym for Families Advocating Autism Now. This morning Rebel Fitness hosted a “boot camp fitness” workshop. 100% of the proceeds from the class were donated to FAAN. Each participant shelled out 10 dollars to sweat it out for a good cause.

This month FAAN donated books to schools, from pre-school to college, making sure their campus is not short of books on autism. If you’re interested in seeing your local school or library stock books on the topic, e-mail info@humboldt.faan.org
