HSU hosts 11th annual California Indian conference

ARCATA., Ca (KIEM)- A sharing of cultures on campus. 11 years ago students started this event.

It wraps up the California Indian conference hosted this year at Humboldt State. It’s the “Indian big time” a social gathering that is all about celebrating and sharing the tradition.

This public celebration of American Indian culture includes sharing of songs and dance from throughout California, and cultural demonstrations including carving, weaving and traditional hand games.
