Stolen Oregon car recovered in Garberville

GARBERVILLE – Quick work by Humboldt County sheriff’s deputies results in the recovery of a stolen car, and the man driving it. Around 9:30 Monday night, deputies checked out a silver Honda Civic parked on Thomas Drive in Garberville.

That ultimately led to the arrest of Isidro Pedroza. Deputies determined 32-year old Pedroza had the car keys on him. The vehicle had been reported stolen earlier in the day from Tillamook, Oregon. Pedroza was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle.
