Still without a head football coach, HSU Boosters not happy

ARCATA- Humboldt State football is still looking for a head football coach. This after Rob Smith resigned from the post in January after ten years with the program.

HSU boosters are not happy and even a petition is out there calling for interim athletic director Duncan Robins to be replaced.

The athletic department received 79 applicants for the coaching job. Robbins told Redwood Sports he is actively working with five candidates. He is selling them on the tradition, the community and opportunity to build a great platform that has had a lot of recent success.

The Lumberjacks kickoff the regular season September 1, at Midwestern State.
