Arcata, Ca., (KIEM)- In honor of diversity day, hundreds of people gathered at the Arcata plaza to celebrate live music the farmers market and community talent.

Another group was out there sharing the challenges our community faces and embracing the ways to accept diversity.

“We are your community” is a media campaign created by two HSU graduates and now its movement to spread awareness of how diverse we really are and what we can do to make each feel welcomed.
