USDA Recalls Beef and Pork Products for Plastic Contamination.

Eureka, Ca., (KIEM)- Check your refrigerator. Two beef brands are issuing recalls for meat that may be contaminated by foreign objects.

More than forty nine thousand pounds of smoked sausage product are being recalled by eddy packing company. This recall includes smoked sausage in pork and beef, and vacuum packed cheese and jalapeno pork.

California retailers have received product that may contain hard plastic pieces. If you’ve purchased Kroger Ground Beef products, visit the USDA.gov  to find out if it is subject to a similar… Hard plastic related recall. The manufacturer of many Kroger ground beef and sausage products, JBS USA, is recalling more than 35-thousand pounds of meat as well.
