Food for People: Free Farmers Market-Style Produce

Food for people, a Humboldt County food bank, kicked off their 2018 season today of free farmers market-style produce distributions for low income households.

Food for People offers these monthly markets to ensure households throughout Humboldt have access to fruits and vegetables needed to maintain a healthy diet. The free produce program takes place four times a month between May and October.

Produce distributions are scheduled to happen in Eureka, Fortuna, Gaberville, and Redway. You can find out more on Food for People’s website.
